Selling Intensifies On D-Street; Banks, FMCG, Oil Stocks Drag


The 50-share list is down 83.15 points or 1 percent at 8109.75 while the Sensex is down 246.53 points or 0.9 percent at 26313.39. Banks, FMCG and oil stocks are dragging lists. Coal India, Sun Pharma, Reliance and Cipla are best gainers while Tata Motors, Asian Paints, Dr Reddy's Labs, ITC and HDFC are washouts in the Sensex. Gold costs spurted by Rs 280 to Rs 28,200 for every 10 grams in fates exchange as theorists broadened their wagers taking positive prompts from the worldwide market.
